Responsibilities:
- Advise and represent management clients on compliance, single-plaintiff and class action litigation, and sensitive personnel matters.
- Develop and implement strategies to minimise litigation risks in wrongful discharge, breach of contract, and other employment claims, while adeptly handling retaliatory discharge, fraud, and related cases when litigation arises.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and legal compliance of employee benefits programs, executive compensation, pension plans, and ERISA compliance, with experience in complex cases and collective bargaining.
- Counsel clients on labor relations matters, including union organising, decertification campaigns, and collective bargaining. Represent clients before the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) and in NLRB-related investigations and appeals.
- Advise clients on effective responses to corporate campaigns involving adverse-publicity tactics, political pressure, and labor disruptions, enabling clients to refocus on their strategic business goals.
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an Accredited Law School and admission to the New York Bar.
- Extensive experience representing management clients, with significant expertise in counseling, litigation, employee benefits, and labor relations.
- Proven experience with clients in sectors such as manufacturing, construction, transportation, retail, health care, telecommunications, financial services, and others.
